The Night Auditor will be responsible for the overnight audit process and accounting functions following training with our wonderful and established night auditor! He is extremely friendly and will make sure that you are confident in your ability to complete these duties before you are responsible for these tasks on your own:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet guests warmly and provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to the rooms
• Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction. Use supervisor support when necessary
• Answer incoming calls with appropriate greeting
• Provide feedback to day shift on all current and pertinent information
• Communicate current knowledge of local area, attractions and events to guests and team
• Facilitate guest departures by providing accurate statements, ensuring guest satisfaction, and collecting all payments due
• Enter and verify all wake-up calls for guests
• Follow trained procedures to audit the shift closing of front office staff
• Follow trained procedures to reconcile cashier's reports with the food and beverage system each night, posting any unresolved tickets from the day shift
• Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier’s reports, and guest and house accounts, and telephone revenue; assisting the preparation of all relevant to daily revenues
• Ensure all revenue documentation is in compliance with established policies and procedures
• Resolve problems arising from guest complaints, reservation and room assignment activities
• Reconcile daily receipts from all profit centers, including but not limited to: hotel operation and food and beverage facilities
• Perform all Guest Service Representative functions as required; may assist in booking room reservations
• Perform all Front Desk functions as required
• Other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
